The solution is to globally block autorun.inf files from executing. Simply select the ‘Protect against Autorun parasites‘ option in DVD Repair.

DVD Repair will then set the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionIniFileMappingAutorun.inf], @=”@SYS:DoesNotExist” registry value. Because Autorun are disabled in Windows 7 by default, DVD Repair will set the NoAutoplayfornonVolume value when run on Windows 7. Just to keep true to the double-tap rule, DVD Repair will also set the NoDriveTypeAutoRun value.
